WHITE HOUSE WELCOMES FIRST AFRICAN PRESIDENT UNDER TRUMP TENURE

Nigeria’s President visit US President as part of plan to tackle security and economic issues in the country.

The president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has arrive USA for a meeting with President Trump. The meeting will focus on tackling Security and economic issues that is affecting the nation. According to report, the meeting will help profer solution to the challenges currently going on in Africa largest black nation.

Furthermore, the meeting will also highlight ways to ensure the strategic partnership between the two countries and to advance shared priorities. It will also include promoting economic growth in both nations.

Nigerian Ambassador to USA, Amb. Sylvanus Nsofor will receive the President of Nigeria who is accompanied by Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State; Governor Simon Lalung of Plateau State; Chairman Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama.

Some Nigerian Officials has already travelled to the USA ahead of the president visit according to report from some nigeria newspapers. Meanwhile their visit will be to help strike a deal to provide four companies led by General Electric. The companies will be given opportunities to invest $2 billion to modernize key railways between Nigeria’s commercial hub. The area will include, lagos, port-harcourt, kano and maiduguri which is the birthplace of Boko haram.

A deal with U.S. aircraft manufacturer Boeing is also part of Nigeria’s President delegates for a new state-own airline project. The visit will also try to seek closer military and security ties with the U.S.
